I feel compelled to tell this HS Clay House story passed along by a guest this weekend. Two guests were with friends at the fire pit remembering a cousin who had passed away suddenly at 30 years old. In the midst of the discussion, the lights at the church next door came on, illuminating the large stained glass windows that face the B&B. Not only did these two guests decide to go in the church, they met the person responsible for the church lights who joined them in a prayer for their cousin. Additionally, the church lighting person is responsible for the church bells and rang them 30 times in honor of the cousin, both that night and again the next morning. ![]()
