Pool days, harvest nights, and everything in between.
As the summer sun starts to wind down, there’s still time for one more getaway to Missouri Wine Country—and I’ve got the perfect invitation for you. From a refreshing dip in the pool at The H.S. Clay House Bed & Breakfast to dancing in the vines at the Augusta Harvest Festival, the next few weeks are filled with local charm and unforgettable experiences.
Let’s make the most of it, shall we?
The Summer Concert Series Is Still in Full Swing!
Last Chance to Enjoy the Pool!
Yes, the H.S. Clay House pool is still open, and there’s nothing quite like a cool swim on a hot afternoon in Augusta. Whether you’re coming for the weekend or sneaking away midweek, now’s your chance to lounge by the pool with a glass of wine and soak up the sun before we close it for the season. The clock is ticking—and the water is perfect.

Join Us for the Augusta Harvest Festival
This is the big one—and truly one of my favorite weekends of the year.
The Augusta Harvest Festival kicks off Friday, September 20th, with Swingin’ in the Vines—a magical, all-inclusive evening at Honey Bee Vineyard. Picture this: a scenic hayride through the vines, a gourmet picnic basket for two, a bottle of local wine, a port tasting in a historic cellar, and dancing under the stars to a live band. It’s everything a Wine Country night should be.
Tickets are $125 for two and worth every penny. Call 636-228-4005 to reserve.
Then on Saturday, September 21st, the celebration continues with small-town charm in full swing:
- 5K Run
- A festive parade
- Pie contest
- Kids’ activities (yes, bounce house included!)
- Live music and more
Come experience one of the best weekends Augusta has to offer—and stay with us at The H.S. Clay House for the full experience.
